Gearing Up for CENACE – Velocity Suite Update
The January 1, 2017 go-live date for CENACE is rapidly approaching. The Velocity Suite team at ABB has been busy collecting and incorporating this data into the Velocity Suite. Interested in knowing what data is currently available or planned for CENACE?
CENACE Data Currently Available or Planned
Preliminary day ahead LMP prices – Includes all history and revisions for over 2,300 nodes. Nodes are classified as either zone, generator, or load. Congestion and loss data is provided in addition to LMP pricing. Data is available at an hourly granularity.
Preliminary day ahead ancillary service prices – Five ancillary market prices for the eight ancillary service regions in Mexico. Assigned volumes for ancillary prices are included. Data is available at an hourly granularity.
Regional hourly demand, hourly generation, and daily forecasted hourly demand – Hourly volumes in MWs for the nine reporting regions in Mexico. A tenth region, Mulége, is expected to begin publishing data after the January 1st go-live date.
Additions and updates to new entrants data – More than 50 generation plants have been added in Mexico, and improvements to existing infrastructure are ongoing.
