Webcast: CENACE: The Next Frontier in ISO Markets

Starting January 1st, 2017, Mexico will be moving to a fully-nodal, de-regulated, wholesale electricity market with the creation of CENACE. The last 20 years have seen energy markets in the US transitioning from zonal pricing structures to fully nodal wholesale pricing markets. This has increased transparency with public demand forecasts, history, localized prices, generation reports and more resulting in an efficient and cost-effective environment for participants and consumers alike. As nodal market structures continue to expand within the US, countries like Mexico are following suit by implementing similar markets to replace and/or enhance their private energy sectors. Join members of the Velocity Suite team at ABB as we highlight upcoming changes and potential analysis surrounding CENACE.

Topics will include

  • Timelines – How and when are the markets in Mexico changing
  • Visualize new market structures and how they relate
  • Streamlining Analysis – Understanding CENACE and the available data
  • Provide feedback – What type of analysis would help you to make important business decisions?
